Is The Asset Manager currency specific? (i.e. is the US Dollar the only currency that it supports?)

The Asset Manager is not currency specific and will support any currency based on a decimal system.  Currency amounts are stored and displayed as a decimal number without mention of currency. For example, if I purchased an asset for $345.67, The Asset Manager would store/display the purchase price as 345.67 (no dollar sign).
